On Saturday, June 15, 2023, at around 1:15 AM, Deputy Jarrett Chandler was sitting at the four-way on Steadman Church Road and observed a White Ford truck with no taillights. Deputy Chandler conducted a traffic stop and during that stop, the driver admitted he knew the lights were out. While Deputy Chandler was speaking to the driver, he noticed a male in the vehicle and knew he had warrants out of another jurisdiction. Deputy Chandler had back-up on the traffic stop and the three subjects were taken out of the vehicle while they were run through GCIC to see if they were wanted. A warrant came back for Kameron Brock, and he was detained while the deputies were waiting to see if the other jurisdiction would extradite. When a pat down was conducted, a firearm and baggie with a crush substance that was identified as Xanax by the offender were located in his pockets. In a search of the vehicle, a clear pipe with burned residue and two additional firearms were located. All three individuals denied ownership of the other two firearms but the female passenger, Ashlyn Bolin, claimed ownership of the meth pipe. The vehicle driver was issued a citation for the taillight violation. Kameron Todd Brock, a 19-year-old W/M out of Tallapoosa, GA was arrested and charged with Possession of a Firearm in Commission of a Crime, Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act (VGCSA) – Possession of Schedule 4 drugs and Pills Not in Original Container. Ashlyn Marie Bolin, a 22- year-old W/M out of Tallapoosa, GA was arrested and charged with Possession of Drug Related Objects.
